What Is THCa?

Will THCa Show Up on a Drug Test?
Yes. Although raw THCa is not intoxicating, consuming or heating it can result in THC metabolites that may be detected during drug testing. Detection times vary depending on the individual, frequency of use, and the type of test:
- Saliva: Up to 24 hours
- Blood: Approximately 1–2 days
- Urine: Typically 3–30 days
- Hair: Up to 90 days
If you're subject to drug testing, it's safest to avoid THCa products altogether, as no detection window can be guaranteed.
